How to edit your Instagram profile: A complete setup guide

Learn how to edit your Instagram profile, update your name, change your username, and optimize your bio step-by-step.

How to update your basic profile details

To edit your profile information, tap your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile. Then, tap "Edit profile" below your profile info.
